Hey guys! I will not be able to make Degicon this year. 've been in Florida with my family since November and it looks like a visit to Philly just isn't gonna happen. 'll be in Miami for New Years. I remember 2003 when Joe, Jess and James went down there and I was so jealous, I can't not go this time. I've really been enjoying Phish lately too. Didn't see any of the Fall tour, but Festival 8 was absolutely amazing. Got a few pointers for the next Timequake...propane+piping+fire=awesome! And giant helium air filled bladders with led balloons attached= very awesome!
Bill, I'll be in Bay Area on Jan 6 or 7th but I am heading directly up to Portland the next day as I have not been at my home since the beginning of October. I'll give you a call when I'm in your neck of the woods.
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and New Year and have a great time at Degicon 9!

Joe, we are definitely coming! I'll try to call you tomorrow if I can get time at work. Just one question to those in the Philly area...where should we stay?! ;-) We can totally get a hotel near the VFW, if there is one, unless there is someplace else to crash...and I don't even know how many "we" are! 3-5 at least...
Also, what can we bring??? Food, I imagine... ;-) I have a mean oatmeal cookie recipe!
